Ellen was commissioned to create a panoramic illustration for St Mary's Hospice. The illustration celebrates the landmarks of the Furness and the South Lakes, reflecting the communities that St Mary’s Hospice cares for. Ellen captured the essence that everyone who passes through this corridor feels a special connection to home. Ellen captured the iconic landmarks, natural scenery, and places of significance across the Furness Peninsula and South Lakes, weaving them into a panoramic scene. This incorporated a sense of community, warmth, and belonging. The overall iilustratioin provided a welcoming, uplifting, and comforting visual experience for patients, families, staff, and visitors. Walls tell stories. A wallpaper illustration isn’t just decoration - it’s an atmosphere, and a world of imagination layered on paper. Sections of the artwork were used as stand-alone pieces of art.
